Tairua Dive and Fishinn was proud to host St Johns College Open Water Course on Slipper Island Mon 7th Dec to 10th Dec.
It was a wonderful fun packed week for all concerned.

we lived for four incredible days.

Learning Safety, ability to be self proficient, and knowing how to help others around you and to take care of the environment though knowledgeable and understanding teachers who have past on their wealth of knowledge and life experience

... this beautiful packy looked great BUT turn her over and she was laiden with eggs. This is next years harvest. Which we have to take care of and genitally put back.

Kayak Adventures: With our experienced Guides over Christmas Holidays are available. Explore the Tairuaian Gold Mines, Hike along Forest tracks down to Tairua's beautiful rocky River, have a picturesque picnic lunch and prepare for you row home down the deep Tairua river from Hikuai to the vast open expanse of the Pauanui / Tairua Harbour. Breath taking scenery and loads of wild life along the way. $120 pp includes a pack lunch (min 4) 24hr prior booking essential. Allow a minimum of 6hrs. Shorter river and Harbour Adventures: available $80 pp lunch not included. Allow 3hrs. Min 3persons.
