Teen Diving

Tairua Dive and Fishinn provides an end of year PADI Teen Dive Camp held on the first week of school holidays on Slipper Island. Consisting of 4 Fun filled days of Supervised Open Water learning with 4 star Accommodation at the Slipper Island Lodge

Our Teen Dive Camp was invented several years ago to cater to our local children of Diving parents. We now have the pleasure of offering Teen dive camps to young New Zealander's and overseas students, teaching them in a safe controlled environment on Slipper Island, 12k's off the Tairua/ Pauanui coastline. Introducing them to the colourful underwater world of diving that they can use through out life anywhere in the world.

We are now teaching the next generation of previous students siblings. Our students come from all over New Zealand and the world!!

The camp is held on the first second and third week of the Christmas Holidays first week of the School holidays in December, every year, for four days (each camp):

2011 School Teen Dive Camp Dates are 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th "Taking Bookings NOW."

2011 December Teen Dive Camp Dates are 20th 21st 22nd & 23rd. to allow for forward planning.
2012 "Possible 3rd Camp "will be organised in the NEW YEAR for over flow bookings if necessary.

We have 3-4 Instructors, Camp Chef and  Dive Master to guide the teens for four fun filled days on Slipper Island.

And they come back with a gold Open Water certification because they chose to go through our 5 Star Dive Centre.

COST: $795.00

Covers: Manuals, Certificate, 2 x Passport photos for dive cards, 5 Star Gold ID, Quality Hire Equipment, all Food and Drinks, Accommodation, Boat Trips and Diving.
