Daily Fishing Charters out of Tairua Pauanui Coromandel Peninsula New Zealand
 Tairua Dive and Fishinn provides a number of Fishing adventures on the Coromandel Peninsula, Aldermen Islands, Mercury Islands, Slipper Island, Dogger Bank and many more "Locals favourite spots". Charters can be tailored for beginners to the very experienced Fishing guru... All Bait, Tackle, and Rods are supplied within the price. Food packages can be arranged. And a wide range of Accommodation is availaible. Giving you the total one stop Fishing Package. We are a family business backed up by the only established shop front in Tairua & Paunui, easily found under the small volcano at the end of the habour, Paku Mountain. on the Esplanade. Just look for the Little Yellow Shop on the Harbour. 
Tairua Dive & Fishinn have two Certified Commercial Boats that are fully equipt with on board toilets, comfortable seating both under and in cabin. Both Boats have all relevant safety equipment including comfortable Life Jackets for all on board.
Scuba Diver is Serveyed for 12 people. And the Island Cat is serveyed for 14 people. (the Cat is also wheel chair friendly) Pending on the Charter to the number of passengers. For example Fishing on Scuba Diver 4 to 6 people are comfortable and Fishing on Island Cat 2 to 7 people makes a fun group. Comfort Safelty and having a good time by all is our main goal.

Tony was the Chief Skipper of Marine Rescue @ Point Danger Tweed Heads covering the treacherous Tweed Bar the second most dangerous Bar in Australia... on the QLD & NSW boarder. So your in very capable safe hands on our Charters.
We run daily weather permitting. Departures are from our Wharf near the "Little Yellow Shop" or we can offer Pickups from Paku Wharf, Tairua Town Wharf or Pauanui Wharf.
Food hampers can also be arranged through us which is freshly made by Local Cafes and Restaurants around Tairua provided a wide choice taylored for your trip.
Affordable "Accommodation" is available for the Romantic Couple or Diving or Fishing parties up to 10 People in our Holiday Bache in Pauanui.. Or you can choose from a number of quality Accommodation listed on our Accommodation Page.

Beautiful Blue Skies AGAIN.. Marine Forecasts 40knot winds and heavy rain.. When are they going to have a live weather forecast for the Coromandel?
The Rain nearly always ends at the top of the Range and is usually clear along our breath taking coast line. No wonder most Aucklanders that have Holiday Batches over here want Tairua kept as a secret.
Check out the size of this Big Kingfish. This young Argentinian man could hardly lift it, exhausted after a long exciting fight.

Fishing trips are organised personally with the groups booking so locations, Type of fish and type of challenge will differ each time you go out with us.
We specialise in Snapper and Kingfish for a half day or for a full day trip.
Come for a Fun, Relaxing 1/2 or Full day Fishing Adventure out on the beautiful Eastern Coromandel Peninsula Coastline. We specialize in putting smiles on peoples faces and making memories that will last a lifetime!

We can Cater from 1 to 17 people just call and discus your requirments
Half days (4-6 hours for 4 persons)
Full days (6-8 hours for 4 persons)

* All trips are based on numbers and weather. And the final decider on trips going out is up to he captain on the day.
THE BOATS
Island cat is MNZ and SSM certified, and is a fast, comfortable 8.5m Noosa Cat Stable seriously designed, commercial vessel; we have an on board toilet, modern electronics, and lots of deck area to land all your catch. Island Cat The boat is specially fitted out for Fishing and Sightseeing Trips. Island Cat is surveyed for 14 people but for your comfort we only take out maximum of 7 fishing people at any time.
If your charter needs a bigger boat or you want a fun competitive day we can bring in our second boat Scuba Diver or we have access to larger vessels for big party bookings or overnight live on board to choose from.
YOUR SKIPPER
Your skipper Tony is both nationally and internationally qualified, with 40 years experience in commercial and recreational saltwater fishing. Not to mention 15 years Marine Rescue experience most as Chief Skipper.
THE RODS
All fishing Tackle, Rods, Bait are provided.
YOU NEED
You need to bring is an Esky (chilly bin) for the days catch, a cold drink, towel and food for the trip. Special food orders can be made for your fishing charter. We support our local Cafes and Restaurants and they have special Fishing picknic hampers that they can wisk up with if ordered ahead of day.

Tairua Dive and Fishinn.. Fishing Trip/Charter Deposit Policy
Tairua Dive & Fishinn will ask for a minimum, deposit of 25% of the Full Fishing Charter Fee.
Tairua Dive and Fishinn Cancellation Policy
If you do not turn up on the day or you cancel your trip with in the 24 hour time period prior to the date of the Trip.... Tairua Dive & Fishing retains the right to hold the deposit to cover loss of income or part of..
Tairua Dive & Fishinn Reserves the right to cancel a trip due to numbers and or bad weather on the day.
